Area 98 and Poets Eyewear have always perpetuated a tradition of high quality frames. CCS frames though new are much like a rare cuvée that sublimates exceptional finesse and breadth encompassing flowers, feathers and crystalline acetates.
Like its sister Coco Song, CCS resembles yet is dissimilar in design and rendering. CCS lighter tones, brilliant pales, crystalline golden highlights and notes of flowers and silks, are in systematic affinity with dried flowers and feathers – as if wandering around in a dream.
CCS frames are absorbed in pearl as if from the spiritual world, with arms rolled in material of earth that descend like cranes on gilded, forgetful wings to decorative end pieces, highlighting the ‘mien’ of the wearer’s character or mood. Images, ideas, emotions are represented in the rims of structured equilibrium of acetate in either lace-like pattern swirls, bands and botanical illustrations,
